Bass Hill Landfill; Susanville, CA
To alleviate blowing trash in adjacent Bureau of Land Management lands, Lassen County Regional Waste Management Built needed a trash containment barrier. This project was critical to the long term plan for landfill expansion at the site. Judge Netting worked closely with management to provide a netting structure that was on time, cost-effective, and accomplished the desired results. Steel poles were engineered for local wind conditions and designed with large angled outrigger arms and treated wood baseboard to provide the ultimate in trash retention

East Stockton Transfer Station; Stockton, CA
The East Stockton Transfer Station is a transfer and recycling station for trash and had been located at this location for decades. Encroaching development, increasingly strict regulation from the City of Stockton, and environmental issues necessitated the complete enclosure of the sorting area of this facility. Judge Netting worked with this family owned company to design and construct an enclosure that would provide privacy, wind protection, and dust and trash retention. The enclosure received building department approval by the city. Covering over one full acre, the structure exceeded our expectations and saved us nearly $800,000 dollars over a conventional enclosure. This type of installation provides complete privacy and dust containment on the sides and ventilation and 100% litter retention (note the netting top) without any center support poles to encumber equipment operations.
